This policy explains what personal information The Label Club collects, why, and what you can do about it. We are the data controller for the information described here.

What we collect
When you order
Your name, delivery and billing address, email address, phone number, and the details of what you ordered. We need these to fulfil your order — without them there’s no order.
We never see or store your card details. Card payments are handled entirely by Stripe, and Klarna handles its own payments. Your card number never reaches our systems.
When you message us
Whatever you send us on WhatsApp or by email, and our replies, so we can help you and keep a record of what was agreed.
When you sign up for emails
Your email address, and only if you actively ask for it. You can unsubscribe from any email we send.
When you browse
Standard technical information — pages visited, roughly where in the world you are, what device and browser you’re using. This comes through Google Analytics and is used to understand what’s working on the site, not to identify you personally.
Why we’re allowed to hold it
- To perform our contract with you — processing, packing and delivering your order, and handling returns.
- To meet legal obligations — keeping transaction records for tax purposes.
- Because you consented — marketing emails, and analytics cookies.
- For our legitimate interests — preventing fraud, answering enquiries and improving the site, weighed against your right to privacy.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell your data. We never will. We share only what’s necessary, with:
- Stripe — card payment processing
- Klarna — where you choose to pay with Klarna
- Royal Mail — name and delivery address, so your parcel arrives
- European delivery carriers — for orders shipped outside the UK, including customs information where required by law
- Hostinger — our web host, which stores the site and its database
- Google Analytics — anonymised site usage
Each of these acts under its own privacy terms. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
Cookies
Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use:
- Essential cookies — remembering what’s in your basket and keeping you logged in. The site doesn’t function without these.
- Analytics cookies — Google Analytics, which tells us which pages people use and where they leave.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Blocking essential cookies will stop the basket working.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for six years, which is what UK tax law requires. Enquiries are kept for two years. Marketing email addresses are kept until you unsubscribe.
Where it’s held
Our website and its data are hosted within the UK and EU. Some of the services above may process data outside the UK; where they do, they are required to protect it to UK standards.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to:
- Tell you what we hold about you, and give you a copy
- Correct anything that’s wrong
- Delete it, where we don’t need it for a legal reason
- Stop using it for marketing, at any time
- Restrict or object to how we use it
- Send it to you or another provider in a portable format

Children
This site isn’t intended for under-16s and we don’t knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
Security
The site runs over an encrypted HTTPS connection and access to customer data is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what we hold.
Complaints
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, tell us first and we’ll try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office, the UK’s data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk.
Changes
We may update this policy. The current version is always the one published on this page.
